What are dust mites?
They are microscopic bugs that live on the dead skin cells of humans & pets. Their faeces can cause allergic reactions to humans, especially among asthmatics. Their size are only 230-300 microns & it’s translucent, making them invisible to the naked eye.
Where are dust mites found?
Skin cells & scales are often found in mattresses, furniture and carpeted areas. Bed are a prime habitat for dust mites and may have around 100,000 to 10 million mites inside.
